Job Sharing minisite & survey

Capability Jane

Capability Jane runs the largest network of mid to senior female returning professionals in London and South East of England. They recently had a requirement for a smaller satellite website to sit alongside their main corporate site, with the intention of running a survey to gather information about job sharing in the workplace.

Job sharing is one way of opening up senior-level opportunities to people wanting to work on a part-time basis. It is one of several flexible working opportunities available to organisations wishing to recruit and retain diverse senior talent, and appears to be one that would particularly suit the 24/7 nature of work within global, client-facing organisations.

The site was designed in Photoshop, built in Dreamweaver using page templates, and the survey was constructed using the LimeSurvey platform. I’ve used LimeSurvey before, and have found it to be an invaluable tool in the open source realm of achieving great results quickly and easily. There are a number of templates to help structure and layout a survey, adding a wide range of question types is a simple process (once you get your head around it!), and the data can be exported in a number of different formats. www.capabilityjane.com/jobsharing
